Tomb of Jahangir

Tomb of Jahangir:

                                               It is situated at shahdra to the other side of Ravi river. It is 6 KM from Lahore. The beautiful wooden gate with arches can be seen from a distance. When you will cross the gate you will enter in the courtyard. A fountain is built in front of the tomb there are grove of  mango trees which spread cool shade. The mausoleum is in the park. It is surrounded by a high wall. It is built of colored marbles on an elevated terrace.There are colored designs on the walls the great mughal emperor is enjoying internal rest  for centuries. There are four minarets. on four corners of the building.The inner scene of the tomb is very charming. When you will climb up a minaret you will bird eye view of the city of the Lahore.The city of Lahore will seems at your feet. The people looked like pygmies.you can visit this tomb and enjoy it.
